Eeek! I can't imagine teaching kindergarden kids! My son will be 5 later this month, (but he can't start K until next fall), and it is so hard to get him to focus even for a few minutes. I can't imagine having 20-30 kids just like him in class:) I admire what you do!
ReplyDeleteI think everyone needs to rest this time of year as well. I was talking to my husband just last week about going back to school, but we decided to wait until we get my undergraduate and graduate school paid off first:)

It is so fun to read about what is going on with fellow bloggers - and hearing the CA bloggers say it is still warm there! Up here in WA I have my boots and scarves on and the leaves are falling! It has definitely started to get cooler. I hope you get a break in the warmth and get to experience fall a bit!
ReplyDeleteI am SO glad I found your Wild Things alphabet puzzle! My mom visits my classroom and reads to us sometimes, and next week she is going to read Where the Wild Things Are to my Kinders. This puzzle will be perfect to add to word work after that! :)
I also have two more Wild Things activities that you might like. One is a sight word I Have Who Has sight word game and the other is a set of logic puzzles that get kids thinking critically. They are both in my TpT store. You are so lucky to have your mom read to your class- I'm jealous! :)
